I'm Too Scared to go Full - On Gyaru!
Should I  go for It?

Hi, Everyone! It's 💖Kawaiicute💖
Today is my first (hopefully useful) post to all the new gals out there.
This is one of the most common questions newbies or interested people ask- so, what do you do?

It can be tough starting out as a new gal, especially if you're worried about other people's reactions (Me too, at first)! But Gyaru is all about feeling confident in yourself - if you feel great wearing gyaru makeup and clothes, you should keep going!
So, tip #1: Go for it! Make that decision.

So, what next?

Find your style:
There are so many gyaru styles to choose from, depending on what you like!
~There are some examples in the cute pic below~

💝Tips💝
Save photos of your favourite gyarus as inspiration
What kind of clothes do you already have? Maybe you can decide on a style that way?
Don't buy gyaru brand items unless you're sure that you'll stick with the style - otherwise you'll end up buying a lot and then losing interest in them a few weeks later. They are expensive!
It's ok to do more than one style at the same time - I do himekaji and kogal.

Look at tutorials online - like this blog! (I promise I will post more!)
Check out these tutorials to start off with, or I recommend reading GAL VIP magazine, which you can read for free on Issuu (some issues might be restricted).

And, finally - stay positive!
So, you've found your courage to do it, found your style, and tried out some tutorials. Enjoy the first steps on your gal journey! If you look great, and you're doing it because you want to, try not to worry about the stares you might get or the haters you meet- you're doing this for yourself.
They need to get a life.

That's all for today- I hope this helped!

  1. Are there English translations to these tutorials?

  2. I will try to find a translation of the "EGG" one for you. In the meantime, the fuzzy bun tutorial is in English (click on it to see the instructions more clearly), and the Satomin tutorial doesn't have captions. For more stuff, I recommend "Gal VIP" magazine.
